Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that you may have many questions during this transition, and we’re here to help. We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions that are commonly raised during an acquisition. As the acquisition date approaches, we will continue to update and expand this list to address additional questions and provide more clarity. We hope this FAQ serves as a helpful resource to answer your questions and ease the transition process. 

The official acquisition date is 12-31-24. We will provide you with an integration timeline for key dates and events to prepare you for the transition soon.  

Employees in Retail Locations who are in good standing with CellShop and AT&T are expected to receive offer letters from My Wireless.

Yes, your seniority will be honored as part of the transition. This includes recognition of your tenure for purposes such as vacation accrual and other applicable benefits. 

My Wireless operates based on a basis of meritocracy, where District Managers, Directors of Sales, and Corporate Level Sales and Operations Leaders who are also in good standing with Cellshop and AT&T will be engaged by Leaders of My Wireless. We look forward to place the best leaders of both companies in the most fitting roles. 

There are a few Corporate positions that My Wireless is looking to fill. We will work with Cellshop to engage individuals who fit those roles based on current functionality. 

We strive to accommodate preferences whenever possible while ensuring store coverage. We will do our best to accommodate schedule availability and shift schedules will be provided with advance notice to help you plan accordingly 

We have provided an overview of our corporate structure so you can get to know your leadership team. This includes the leaders who will be guiding your store, district, and market throughout this transition and beyond. We are excited to introduce you to the experienced professionals who will support and empower your success. 

Effective January 1, 2025, you will be covered under My Wireless benefits. You will soon receive detailed benefit guides that outline coverage details, copays, and payroll deductions. We’re committed to ensuring you have all the information you need about your new benefits. 

My Wireless’ pay schedule is semi-monthly. Hours worked on the 1st to the 15th of each month will be paid on the 25th and the 16th to the end of the month will be paid on the 10th. In addition, commissions will get paid 30 days later on the second pay period of the month.   

Please refer to the Cellshop Commission Agreement or contact the HR Department for more detailed information.
The first bonus check will be based on your market location. You can expect to receive it between the 25th and 28th of the month following the bonus period. For example, the bonus for January 2025 will be issued between February 25, 2025, and February 28, 2025.

We intend to honor all pre-approved and planned vacation requests. These will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to ensure smooth operations during the transition. Additionally, we utilize PAYCOM for managing time-off requests. Soon, you will be granted access to this system, where you can submit, review, and manage your time-off requests directly. 

During the acquisition, any accrued vacation hours you have with Cell Shop will be managed according to Cell Shop’s policies. Please refer directly to Cell Shop for details about their payout obligations or how unused vacation time will be handled.

At My Wireless, we value the time you’ve spent at Cell Shop and will honor your seniority when calculating your benefits. This means your tenure with Cell Shop will count toward your vacation accrual rate and other seniority-based benefits under My Wireless’s policies.

IMO discounts will be transferred after 12-31-24 however, each team member will need to update their new location dealer code in the IMO portal. 

The “Welcome to My Wireless” website was created specifically with all CellShop team members in mind. It provides resources such as guides, videos, and FAQs to address your questions and support you through this transition. We will also be holding virtual meetings and in-person meet-and-greet events to ensure open communication and a smooth integration process. 

The timeline for these events is still being finalized, and we will update this page with new information as it becomes available.  

After transitioning into My Wireless, we will be laser focused on integration. Expect to be introduced to a new cultural movement- focused on progress of each individual for the collective team. We will be hosting recognition events, town hall meetings, and hold regional competitions to enable the best of both companies to shine.
